Large firm based in Glasgow City is looking to recruit 2 experienced Paralegals for their Reparation Department. The ideal candidate will have worked as a paralegal in pursuer RTA cases from start to finish. It is preferable you will be able to raise an action. This is a great firm with a very low turnover in staff and who deals with quality work.

Paralegal – Private Client

New position has arisen with a very good client of ours in the Private Client Department. They are looking for an experience Paralegal holding their Paralegal certificate. The role includes all aspect of administration Executries, powers of attorney, wills, inheritance tax and trusts. Completion of the advanced Paralegal certificate would be advantageous, however not essential. This is a great position being involved with quality work.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills: Fast, accurate audio and copy typing (min 70 wpm), good communication, team working skills; ability to prioritise own workload and to use own initiative effectively; willingness to learn; attention to detail and accuracy; Proficiency in using MS Office, in particular Word and Outlook, knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint a distinct advantage.

Dispute Resolution Legal Secretary                           Edinburgh

Duties involved in this position are; audio typing including correspondence, faxes, business attendances, file notes, court reports/consultation notes, completion of legal documents for both Court of Session and Sheriff Court, e.g. Summonses, Inventories of Productions, Initial Writs, completion of Counsel’s and Office papers, telephone and personal contact with clients, both internal and external, Court Officers, Advocates and other parties, sending faxes and emails, keeping diary and reminder system using Outlook under supervision of fee earners, organisation of meetings, managing client ledgers under fee-earner supervision, operating client Excel database.
